Hi Rob – you make your blog sound like an edition of Top Gear. The car sounds and looks superb and despite the commute of death, I think the library contract has been really good for you. I’ve just finished a six month stint at a contract I was not enjoying and I’ve been a bit more selective with my next one. I finished last Friday and I’ve got two offers from clients wanting to hire me direct, so the rates are pretty good. In the end, I’m going for the closest one although if you are interested in running your little monster up to York, I could get you in at a sweet Silverlight role. If you are splashing out on monster cars, I’m guessing you’ve got more money than inclination to work right now but let me know if you are interested. Good to see a new blog post and I hope to read more when you have more time.

Ahh… the sine wave scrollers…! I don’t think I’ve had a need for look-up tables or IRQs since I left games programming. Those were the days and it really taught you how to write code efficiently. Not like these young’uns these days… pah…
